Danielle Gibbons extends LFC contract

Supporters of Liverpool Ladies were greeted with welcome news this morning as the club announced goalkeeper Danielle Gibbons has signed a new contract.

Liverpool are lucky to boast two top quality keepers amongst their ranks, last season when no.1 Libby Stout was missing through injury Gibbons took her place amongst the starting 11 with ease - keeping 3 clean sheets in her 5 appearances.

Gibbons is the only first-team player to remain at Liverpool from the pre-Matt Bead era and has also kept 3 clean sheets out of 3 games in the Development's Squad unbeaten start to their 2014/15 campaign.

Danielle's re-signing follows the news that Corina Schroder, Nicole Rolser and Katie Zelem have all also extended their Liverpool contracts ahead of the 2015 season.
